At Ripple Within, we are two degree-qualified Early Childhood Teachers with more than 40 years of combined experience in the early childhood sector. Our experience spans a range of roles, service types, educational philosophies and early childhood settings.
We created Ripple Within because we are passionate about supporting educators, Early Childhood Teachers, Educational Leaders, Centre Managers and other sector professionals to feel confident and capable in their practice. Through practical training, coaching and mentoring, we work alongside services to strengthen quality, leadership and everyday practice in meaningful and achievable ways.
We believe every child has the right to access high-quality early education that supports positive lifelong outcomes. We also value the role of families and aim to share clear, practical and evidence-informed information that helps build understanding of child development, learning and early childhood practice.
Hi, I’m Leanne. I have worked in the early childhood education and care sector for nearly 20 years, across a diverse range of roles in both the UK and Australia.
I began my career as a Diploma-qualified educator in the UK, where I worked for seven years before emigrating to Australia in 2012. Adelaide has been home ever since, and I am now also a proud mum to two young children.
Throughout my career in Australia, I have worked as an Assistant Director, Centre Manager and Practice Partner, giving me experience across service leadership, team development, quality improvement and pedagogical practice. I have also recently completed my Bachelor of Early Years Education, further strengthening my knowledge of contemporary early childhood practice.
I am deeply passionate about high-quality environments, relational pedagogy and best practice. My experience includes opening new services, building and bringing teams together, supporting quality improvement, and coaching educators and leaders to strengthen their confidence, capability and practice.
At the heart of my work is a genuine passion for uplifting the early childhood sector. I believe meaningful and sustainable change happens through strong relationships, reflective practice and practical coaching that helps educators understand not only what quality looks like, but why it matters for children.
Hi, I’m Nicole.
I have worked in the early years sector for more than 20 years and recently completed my degree. Throughout my career, I have gained experience across many roles, including educator, team leader, educational leader and director. I have also supported the opening of new services, mentoring and guiding educators to strengthen their practice and create high-quality learning environments for children.
My experience spans a range of philosophies and settings, including working closely with families as a nanny in Australia and overseas. These opportunities have strengthened my belief that meaningful change begins with genuine relationships, thoughtful reflection and a deep understanding of each child, family and educator.
Through Ripple Within, I am passionate about supporting early years professionals and services to grow with confidence. Using a relationship-based approach to mentoring and coaching, I aim to inspire transformative, sustainable change that helps educators thrive and gives every child the opportunity to flourish.
Outside of work, I love spending time with family and friends. You’ll often find me enjoying a good coffee, walking by the beach or searching for a great new brunch spot to share with friends.
